Impressive pyramid (larger than the one in Egypt) with a pyramid on top since the Spanish thought is a hill... Impressive views at pop and itzta - go in the afternoon to see the sunset between the two

If entering through the tunnels, get there early. Once it gets crowded, the tunnels are super packed and claustrophobic.

(2021 Update) Cool site, but extremely confusing signage on where to enter. The church is only open on weekends, so you’re literally relegated to checking out just the outdoor portion. Underwhelming.
