Visit it at night and during the day, as it's beautiful during both times. You have to go while in Bratislava; it's the icon of the city. The best place to see it is from the tower in Old Town Hall.

Visit here on sunset to take beautiful pictures of Bratislava and take a shot of castle in the evening. There is a nice green path, where you feel the nature, climbing to castle in just 5 minutes.

The castle site was once a frontier post of the Roman Empire. Now contains the impressive Historical museum.
